This might be a dumb question but I'm going to ask it anyways. Is it possible to over do it when your pregnant? I'm 16 weeks 5 days and I'm a stay at home mom, I don't get out during the week because I live in the middle of no where! But anyways I went grocery shopping today then played outside with DS all afternoon and now my mom want to go on a girls day shopping all day tomorrow and I'm just worried about maybe doing too much. I'm I going to over do it or should I just enjoy the energy to do so while I can?

Thanks Mamas :)

Walkin around a lot isn't really over doing it, you can over do certain things like lifting too much, etc. You should be fine :)

Going shopping isn't going to over do it.
Trying to do Olympic weight lifting would be overdoing it.

Shopping and the grocery store aren't over doing it. Overdoing it would be like trying to do a marathon when you haven't trained. There is no reason for you not to go.

It is possible to over do it but I think you will be ok. Enjoy it because right now, I don't feel like doing a damn thing.

I don't know...I mean, caring for another child when you're pregnant on it's own is hard.  I'd think anything other than that could be overdoing it.

Uhhh I take care of a toddler and still manage to walk 2 miles a day for my work out. And im pregnant an not over doing it. So I dont think her going shopping is over doing it

Haha this made me laugh of course going shopping and being a sahm isn't over doing it while pregnant. I'm a waitress, do all the house work and take care of 3 kids and even that's not over doing it!

Whoa!  Overachiever.

Its not over achieving. Anyone with kids and a pregnancy can walk alot and take care of the kids. Its not like its rocket science.

Hmmm.  Just seems like a lot of work.
I was almost pregnant, once...and I couldn't be arsed to get up and go pee.  It took way too much energy.

Being pregnant and having kids is alot of work. But you can still do it.

I don't think that there's anything you can do as a SAHM that will over do it.. there's people who do physical labor all day, everyday while pregnant. You going to the grocery store isn't going to put you on bedrest all week Unknown

This. Good God, you're pregnant not disabled.
