My daughter has been teething really really bad since she is getting her back teeth but recently it has been INSANE. At first I knew it was teething but now it just seems extreme. She wont eat hardly anything and she is never ever happy. She constantly cries and just now when i was taking a bath with her she kept pointing at her privates and i noticed it was a little red so i put desitin on her and i looked but nothing was wrong, it was just a little red. I'm not sure if she's that upset because of her privates or teething but it's making me so sad not being able to console her ): I usually use teething medication on her gums but now that she's older she absolutely hates it. she will scream bloody murder if you try putting teething gel on her gums so now i give her the teething tablets which she likes to take but i haven't noticed it helping at all. any suggestions?
Quoting [Boats&Hoes]:" Baltic Amber Teething Necklace. I have 2 on my son, and I wasn't even aware he cut another tooth. They are a godsend!"
I just looked them up, never heard of it before! I will definitely try it. She's such a girl though and i feel like she wont even chew on it, she'll just wear it.
Quoting [Boats&Hoes]:" lol that's what they do. I thought they were supposed to chew on it too, but I was wrong. They have ... [snip!] ... acid in the beads, so body warmth melts the oils and they're absorbed into the blood stream. It's a natural pain reliever."
Ohh whaat, that's different! lol
Hazel wood necklaces work the same as amber. DS used to be a nasty teether, and when he's wearing his necklace, he cut 5 teeth within 2 months, and I had no idea he was teething. It broke a couple months ago, and I haven't replaced it yet, and he's back to his nasty, teething self  I was skeptical, but I swear It works...or it's just a HUGE coincidence that when he's not wearing it, he's awful, but a joy to be around when he is wearing it....
My 16 month old is driving all of us crazy. He's getting 4 molars in all at once and it's been nothing but one tantrum after another. He's seriously wearing me out.... I feel so bad for him, toddler teething is the absolute worst.
I'm ordering an amber necklace ASAP!
How do you make sure they wear it?? I feel like she wont really want to always wear it

DS has a hazel wood necklace and he doesn't even know it's there. Sometimes he'll pull on it or play with it, but I just give him a toy or something else to distract him. And since I never take his off, he's just used to it being there.
