Quoting CLC 7 weeks:" <blockquote><b>Quoting Monsters Mom (8 weeks):</b>" My aunt did three rounds of IVF ... [snip!] ... sperm is the "better" swimmer choice. "</blockquote> There was no swimming bc they injected the sperm into the egg."

The male sperm deposit gets put into a petry dish. The best swimmers in the dish get picked.

I had my first prenatal appointment today! It was pretty uneventful. I saw a midwife. She wants me to see an OB from this point on because of my history (ectopic) and fertility treatments. She did an in office ultrasound --- yep! That makes 3 weeks in a row I got to see my jelly bean :) We actually got to hear the HB this time :) :) :) It was beating away at 180 bpm!

I met a midwife and expected a nice little chat about pregnancy stuff. Ended up crying in her office about what the first birth did to my body. Had to be addressed sometime, but I really unloaded. Hormonal me.

Thats a good thing! Things like that can hold progress back during pregnancy and birth I hope you get that healing birth you want!
My public bone broke during labor and I wasnt on drugs I left everything but my midwife and nurses had be pushing in this stupid butterfly pose and they kept yelling push push pusssshhhh at me and I pushed her too hard out and tore the tendons that hold you public bone together. It was awful thats why this time Im hoping I can birth at home.

OMG that hadze to be awfull feeling. Not orły you recover afer labour but albo because of such injury.

In Poland its very rare to have homebirths. Perhaps because most people live in bloks. Somehow I cant imagine myself screaming and thinking abut how mamy neighbours are listening. No,thanks.
