DD is 4.5 months and cannot, for the life of me, get her to nap in her crib. She will ONLY nap in my arms.

I also have to put her down while shes completely asleep at night, our bedtime routine is like 2 hours long! I do not want to spend 8+ hours a day rocking lol

Any advice? Sleep methods? Books that helped you?
I DO NOT want to CIO.

- I swaddle already
- We have a bath, lotion, pjs, bottle...then she is rocked to sleep

Have you tried laying her down when she is sleepy but not fussy, then reading or singing in a soft voice. It worked for my DD.

My DD was like that at 51/2 months and the only thing that worked was her soother or rocking her in my arms :(

Have you tried music or sounds? When DS was about 3 months old he was like that but would fall asleep to the sound of rain, so we would play it for him at night.
