In the first trimester I had such bad morning sickness- I didn't think I'd make it through the pregnancy alive! Lol. I was losing weight. But around week 14 it went away and I could eat again, and those were happy days. I eat as I pleased, thinking 'My mom was right, it does get a little bit better'. But 16wks and 5days the sickness is back with a force, and it feels like a cruel joke. I know it isn't the baby, that it is the hormones that make me sick, but I can't help but feel like I am getting a giant 'F U momma' from inside the womb.
But whatever my complaints, I am grateful that he/she is healthy and fine.
I hope it goes away for you soon! I was sick with Brady the entire pregnancy, until my csection. And so far this whole pregnancy. Ill be 32 weeks tomorrow!
What's a cruel joke is when it comes back in your 3rd trimester, when you're feeling like a beached whale, trying to lean over a toilet and vomit.
Call the doctor and get out on a regular nausea med.

Have them switch them until you find something that works.

I feel your pain hun. :(
We tried all kinds of different things when I was pregnant. I puked throughout my whole pregnancy :( Ended up loosing like 30lbs and was in and out of the hospital for fluids :(
Hope you start feeling better soon.
Yea been there hon! :( I was horribly sick till 24 weeks, constant nausea and gagging I was in tears a lot of the time. Nothing really helped. I hit 24 weeks around Christmas Day and I couldn't even eat my dinner I just sat and stared at it while everyone else tucked in. They don't give you meds for sickness in Ireland while you're pregnant. Once I passed 24 weeks I thought the sickness was finally going away but I got horrible heartburn instead. It stayed right up to delivery. I hope you feel better soon!

Oh, the glory days!!
Quoting Mommy of 2 little girls:" Zofran is my best friend right now, if it wasn't for that I wouldn't be able to eat anything. I hope you start feeling better soon."
Zofran always worked miracles for me!

They gave that to me, and they later made the dose stronger, but still does nothing.
