How to tell your doctor that you're right? SPD mamas! l&e Due March 29; 2 kids; 2 angel babies; ✿, IL, United States 1181 posts

So I posted last night about thinking I have SPD because of the constant pubic bone grinding and popping, the pain of turning in bed or even getting up, the agonizing pain of even walking to the bathroom and how everyone has constantly told me to "get over it, it's pregnancy stretching, it's normal" and how I finally decided that it wasn't.
Well, tomorrow I have an appointment at 3:15 and it's with the actual doctor. So, mamas who ever THOUGHT you had SPD... how did you confirm it? What was the process? How did you bring it up that you knew that was what it was and convince them to run tests (I don't know how they determine you having it)?
I want to know so tomorrow he doesn't shove me out the door like usual. It is so bad today I've been in tears from how painful it is.

I had that issue with my kids doctor at first, but I always pushed so she would check and sure enough it was what I thought it was. Now she doesn't question me she just checks it out. Just keep pushing the issue. Don't back down.

There are no tests lol. And honestly, there isn't much they can do about it. I had it all three pregnancies, and was offered therapy and pain medication, which I refused, and ended up on bedrest.
