When you win Powerball tonight? It's expected to be ~$450 million, so you will have many options.
I haz no ticket so I haz no options.....wahhhhhhh
But for real, if I had a ticket AND won, I'd probably have a stroke & spend it on kick ass nursing care the rest of my days.
4 bedroom home here in my city. not too big.
two new vehicles... all debts paid
kids college fund.

It would buy you a LOT of nursing care. You could get FT nursing for a small city for many years :)
I would never work again
If I actually had a ticket....
I'd pay off our debts, get us 2 new vehicles, a new house, put some in a college fund for Pey, put some in savings, and probably go on a huge ass shopping spree for stuff to put in my new house and new clothes for the family :) And then take us on vacation :)
I don't play the lottery... but if I did, and I won, I'd pay off our mortgage and my student loans, as well as pay off my family's debt. Then I'd buy my husband a family friendly vehicle, since all he has is a Ford Ranger that he can't transport our children in.
I'd buy a book store, a boat and beer.
My husband and I had this conversation last night. $10 mill for me and $10 mill for him in blind trust accounts, living off the interest . A good chunk for my parents and his parents. $1 mill to our siblings. Finish remodeling our house. Invest the rest.
Wow that's a lot of money. I would pay off all our debts and give a million each to my parents and my brother because they helped me so much when I was on hard times.
Then I would take a long ass vacation and travel the world. Then I'd put the rest in savings and let it draw huge interest.
Buy a house, get a new car, get SO a new car, pay off our debts, put quite a bit of it in an account for DD and get my family (mom, stepdad, brother and sister) anything they wanted. And maybe invest in something as well..
First and foremost, I would acquire the services of a financial adviser and lawyer to protect my family and the money.
A 5 bedroom house built by the Mennonite construction company we have here and fully furnished with brand new materials and each room designed by an interior designer. An Acura MDX and a Minicooper for my husband.
I'd pay off my in-law's mortgage, give my parents and sister a 2 week trip to the UK (my brother is stationed there), give all my sibling in-laws something.
I would pay off all debt, do 4 trust funds for my kids, invest a bunch into a high yield interest account, invest some elsewhere, and pay for my schooling.
