Every night between 8-10 o'clock my five week old will start crying non stop. I mean she literally screams and cries until she has tears and is red in the face. This will go on until about 11 or even later some nights. I don't know what to do I feel so bad hearing her scream like she does but I also have a two year old to tend to so its not always realistic for me to just hold her all night. I just don't get it she's fairly good throughout the day(just a needy whiny baby but no bloody murder screaming) but at night nothing will calm her unless I hold and rock her. Any suggestions or has anyone else dealt with something like this? I'm thinking of making a doctors appointment tomorrow but I thought I would see if any other moms on here have dealt with it to!

Sounds like colic to me. I'd suggest talking to your doctor and investing in a wrap carrier, that way you can be hands free but still holding her.

My daughter only cried certain times at night and she was colic and had gerd! All you can do is comfort her momma...try gas drops and gripe water they help sometimes.
