I would just hold DS in one arm like a football when he was younger and use the other hand to bathe with. But be careful, they get slippery :P
You can take a bath, and hold him in your lap/legs while you do so. Or you can try to hold him and shower at the same time.. but I think that's a huge PITA.
Do you have a bath seat for him? You can set him in that with you in the shower.
Personally? What I had to do when my LO was like that and I needed to shower was I would just take her to her room and put her in her crib and then go shower really quick.
It broke my heart but she was dry, fed, and loved, and I needed a shower.
He may not be happy while your in there but if you're not shaving then you can be in and out of there in like 10 mins.
Baby will be ok while you shower really quick. Go take a shower mamma.

DD gets so f**king slippery especially once I start using soap and shampoo. I just don't even try to hold her anymore lol
I kept DD in her bouncer chair outside the shower, washed myself, got out and then bathed her in the tub. I've tried
Co-bathing/co-showering but it wasn't for me.. Babies get slippery lol.
How old is he? Put him in a laundry basket and take a bath.
Do you have one of these things? I used it with DS and CO bathed FOREVER. Even once he was sitting up and I took him out of that seat we still CO bathed. Super simple cause you don't have to worry about dropping them. For today, go set baby in crib and go take a quick shower. I promise, he'll be okay. These bath seats are like $12 at Target if ya don't have one...
It's easiest to take a bath. They get super slippery in the shower. Just fill the tub and hold him in your lap. Or just bring his bouncer/bumbo/whatever kind of seat in the bathroom with you and sit him in it and be fast. If he gets too upset you'll be right there.
Im wondering this to. My ds screams and cries bloody murder when I put him down, and I really dont want to leave him in his crib! I have obey tree of those chairs but he would roll out of it right now

I almost dropped LO as an infant trying to co shower. Too dangerous!
Depending on age, you can turn on a colorful cartoon and let him stare at it while you sneak away. A little crying wont hurt for 10 mins.
I never took a shower with DD, too dangerous IMO. The risk of dropping her was too great, they get really slippery. I co-bathed with her, but I always had DH at home at the time. He was able to come and get her out of the bath and then I would get washed after she was done. If I had to shower while alone with DD, she went in her crib. You can be in and out of the shower in a matter of minutes.
Whenever I take showers with my daughter I either hold her and don't use soap (too slippery) or put her in her bath seat while I soap up and rinse off quick. But she gets a little cold so I have to be quick.

sounds a lot like my daughter. It got worse before it got better. She grew out of it at four months, she was also a tummy sleeper. None of the meds helped her, we kind of just had to wait it out. Once she was old enough to not be burped it actually helped a lot strangely, she spit up way less after that.
