Did your son end up with a bigger head? I wonder how he measured so far ahead! lol

Quoting Kayla [:)]♥:" I think his length really screwed things up, because he was an inch short of 2 feet, right... lol I don't know, they never measured his head."

Oh holy moly! Probably then because they usually do head circumference and femur length I believe.

He measured 4 weeks ahead. We did an U/S on the Friday before he was born, he was born Tuesday, they said about 10 pounds 2 ounces. He was born at 9 pounds 15 ounces. I was 38.5 when he was born.

My last u/s with my first son was at 37 weeks, I don't remember what they said he weighed then but she did say "at the rate he's growing he could be 11lbs by 40 weeks".. he was born at 39 weeks at 10lbs 3oz and 23 inches long.. This time baby is even bigger, if I make it to 40 weeks I'm guessing 12 lbs, he feels huge already and I'm only 33 weeks!

My first child measured two weeks ahead, but only for a small time during the middle of my pregnancy. By the end, he was measuring normally. The ultrasound that I had the day before he was born said that he would be 8 lbs, 2 oz and he was 7 lbs, 15 oz, so they were pretty close.
My second child always measured on track, and I didn't get an estimate before he was born.
My third child was an early miscarriage, so.

I'm due 11/20 but baby has been measure about a day ahead of that date where as my other 2 measured 3-4 days behind my edd."</blockquote>

DS1 measured ahead 9 days at the anatomy scan. He was born at 6 lb 2 oz at 35w5d, which was just slightly above average for gestation (58th percentile). DS2 measured 2 weeks ahead at the anatomy scan. He was born at 7 lb 15 oz at 37w6d, which was 70th percentile. DD measured 10 days small at the anatomy scan. I'll know her birth weight in a few weeks when she pops out.

At 36 weeks, Everett measured 6lb, 7oz and he was born right at 40 weeks weighing 8lbs on the nose.

He was a good sized baby, but I was consistently measuring a couple weeks behind. I think part of it may have been because of how much weight I lost from the HG. Also, I was comparing it to my pregnancy with Owen in which *I* was huge, and he was ginormous, lol.

Everett is my smallest baby though. At 4 months he is in the 10 percentile for his weight. Julia and Owen were consistently always in the 90+ percentile.
