Do you have a funny/cute way you want to tell your SO that you're pregnant? I really want to do something memorable! My husband is a HUGE Redskins fan so I was thinking of getting a little Redskins jersey made with our last name on the back...but I feel like that would take too long! So I need ideas!
Why would that take too long? Get iron in letters at Walmart and make it yourself.
I called him on the phone lmao.
I was so shocked I couldn't wait to tell him
I got the pregnancy confirmed at work and brought the paper home and pulled him in the room and I was crying and like shoved the paper under his nose and was like "we're having a baby"
It wasn't the most pleasant but got the point across lmao. It'll be a lot cuter when we TTC one day

I guess I never really thought to make it myself! Good idea! I found an Etsy shop that does it and it takes a couple weeks. Your idea is better though!
OP I LOVE your idea. It's too cute! I would just go with that. Honestly, with all my pregnancies I just told my DH and showed him the pregnancy tests. Lol. I don't feel very romantic during pregnancy I guess. Not to mention, I wouldn't be able to keep it a secret anyways because my DH knows me all too well and he knows if I start getting grouchy, emotionally weepy or puking....I am knocked up! Haha.
Ever since we'd been together we were under the impression that he couldn't get anyone pregnant because of his 22 year marriage... His ex-wife was never on birth control and never got pregnant and she always told him it was his fault and he believed that.
Anyway, he was on his way home from work one evening and we were talking on the phone about our days like usual. He got off the phone with me to call his mom and see how she was doing. Right after we got off the phone, I went and took a test because I was about 12 days late for my period and had been feeling a little off that particular day. It came up positive! I texted him and said something along the lines of, "OH MY GOD, HOLY f**king SHIT, CALL ME BACK ASAP!" And so he called back almost immediately and thought that something was wrong... And I just started crying and told him I just took a test and I was pregnant. We were both in disbelief, but very, very happy!
So yeah, not all cutesy and special or anything, but I wouldn't do it any differently.

I wanted to go buy a digital, (so it was clear to him that I was "pregnant" lol) and stick it in one of DS's old bottles and put in the fridge and have him grab something out of the fridge for me, and hope he found it! Lol But.... I told him like less than 20 min after getting a second line on one of my ICs!! Ugh, lol I suck at keeping things in!
I didn't do anything cute with any of my kids. With DD I shoved a still wet pregnancy test in his face and said something along the lines of, "How funny is this shit? I really AM pregnant." (We'd been joking about it earlier that day. I had no idea and just took a test for the hell of it.) With LO, I ran out of the bathroom, pants still down screaming, "HOLY SHIT! IT'S POSITIVE!"
With this baby SO stood in the bathroom door way while I full body sobbed on the toilet. LO was barely 4 months old when I found out. I'm over it and excited now but I was gutted then.
Maybe do a Redskins onesie? You could make it yourself.
With both of my pregnancies, SO was there when I found out. He was actually the one who suspected I was prego the first time and made me buy the test, the second time I told him I had been nauseous and having vivid dreams and he took me straight to Wal-Mart and made me POAS in the Wal-Mart bathroom. So I have no exciting story to share, but a friend of mine put a bun in the oven and took a picture of it and sent it to her hubby when she found out.
I came out of the bathroom and said you're right I'm pregnant

You could go ahead and have it made and just save it :)
I don't have anything special planned.
With Heathen, I test him at work "Ready to be a daddy?"
Second, I made a shirt for Heathen that said "big sister"
Third, just told him
This one, he came home from work and asked how I was, I said "pregnant"
For our first, we were TTC for just 2 months and we went out for dinner the night before and picked up a test on the way home. I was planning on taking it in the morning, well I couldn't wait and snuck into the bathroom at 5am. Took it and it went positive almost right away. I went back to bed, and put the test on my night stand beside me. I was freaking out excited inside but DH was asleep. I laid in bed and he put his arm over me and I gripped his arm really tight with my ice cold hands, lol. He asked if everything was ok. So I asked if he wanted to see something, I turned on the lamp and showed him. We had never looked at a pregnancy test before so he said "what does this mean?" haha, and when I told him it meant we were having a baby he was pretty happy. We couldn't go back to sleep!
This time, DH was working 5 hours away for 2 weeks on course. I found out on the Tuesday and he wasn't coming home until Friday. I didn't want to tell him over the phone so I had time to think about it. I got a newborn onesie and painted "Baby (our last name) Coming February 2014" ... Put it in a gift bag and had it on the coffee table in the living room. I had told him over the phone that I had a surprise for him when he got home. We had been TTC for just under 2 years so he wasn't expecting it. He came home and he opened it and just stared at it, he was so shocked. First he asked me if I was serious, was I really pregnant. Once we got over the shock, he was very happy. I think he may have shed a tear or two. It was really nice.
