I had all back labor with my son. lol. What does front labor feel like?
Just imagine your stomach brutally tightening up and squeezing together. Oh, and struggling to breathe through it!
I thought back labor was bad...I had complete back labor with my first son. Then, comes DS#2 and it started with back labor but as it progressed, the contractions started coming in the front. The pain level for me was about the same--the difference was that I could have my husband push on my back and bend and move enough to relieve some of the pain. With labor in the front, I just had to find a way to breathe through it!
People ask me all the time why I don't remember and I'm like because back labor was overwhelming every other pain I was having at the time. Back labor sucks!!!!!
For me it was a hell of a lot less painful than back labour. A hot bath really helped ease the pain whereas when I tried that with my back labour it didn't do a thing. When i'd get a contraction I could breathe through it and rub my belly to make the pain ease yet with my back labour having someone rub my back didn't help much. I was amazed after having my second that it wasn't anywhere near as painful as my first. I was in a good mood and laughing until it came time to push lol. I never want to go through back labour again.
I'm timing right now... It kind of feels like really intense period cramps. Seem right?
Also, I feel like I have to poop but I can't. lol.
Quoting LoveMyBubbaBoy:" Thanks ladies! I'm timing right now... It kind of feels like really intense period cramps. Seem right? Also, I feel like I have to poop but I can't. lol."
We are due the SAME day :)
I have had more back labor than anything but with my first two pregnancies it was front labor and it is like your belly gets soooo tight & you feel like you need to catch your breath. I'm being induced on the 4th of August but hopefully my body and baby boy decides to come naturally. Goodluck to you.8)
