This may sound dumb but I don't really care... My daughter is wearing a 10 in old navy flip flops for the summer... Her birthday is in October and I am wanting to get her a good pair of tennis shoes and flats for the fall. I noticed when online shopping that the sizes go up to 10 but some go higher but most are only to 10 and thats it. So I go to youth and to the smallest size or what? I have gone to shoe places to have them measure in the past and they suck. Is there a good rule of thumb? I'd prefer to just measure them myself anyway. We typically buy her shoes at the store so I just kept going a size up when buying new shoes. Now I'm doing online. Thanks for your help!
I personally would never buy shoes without being able to try them on my childs feet.

Well, she can still try them on. But now that she is growing, she has more interests and wants a specific kind of shoe that is online only. If they aren't comfortable, we can send them back. :)
Toddler go up to 12 and then it switches to youth size 1. but some brands switch at 12. I take my kids to target. the shoe section has a mat they can stand on and it tells you what size. lol easy peasy. The carsear section also has a height measurement thing. random. LOVE target!!!
