The same was said about Casey Anthony. I think he will go into seclusion and then in a year people will put him aside.

I'm not surprised and I definitely agree with the verdict.

I guess I don't understand how a mother murdering her child and burying her in an unmarked grave is more emotionally charged than the GZ case just because the victim was black.

Do you support them in that?

Which is just idiotic.

For your own safety, flight should kick in, not fight. Fighting can get you killed...as this case has proven.

Seeing as how he ran from him multiple times, flight did kick in.

So how many times does one have to flee before they can exhaust that option?

What is that? I heard about them but don't know what it's about.

As many times as it took to NOT have a confrontation. It cost Trayvon his life and THAT is the tragedy here.

I was just wondering because I have seen many people support them in this. Supporting "karma" and letting the chips where they may? That's fair, at least as far as I am concerned.

Yep, but he didn't. Trayvon didn't have to confront and then assault Z either. Neither handled it like I would have.

My thoughts? Honestly? Great, now lets move on. Honestly, I feel bad a child lost his life. I don't like Zimmerman, he doesn't seem like a great person.. but seriously, shit like this happens all the time in my part of town. I mean, teens of all races are killed here daily, and not just by opposite races but also by the same race. This case has brought out the racism in a lot of people on my FB (as in black against white), and I honestly think it's pathetic. Like I said, I think people need to move on, because millions of teens lose their life each and every day, and yet you don't hear about all of them individually.

It makes me so sad, because I think he would've never had to have defended himself if he had not followed this innocent boy, despite being asked not to.how do you over look that??..... I seriously doubt I'm going to stay in the US past the next 5/6yrs. I don't think ny son would ever be truly safe, or considered an equal member of society. It's a f**king crying shame
