We have a Bissel Pet Hair Eraser. I don't like it much.

What do you have? Approximately how much was it?

TIA

ETA: does anyone have this? http://hoover.com/products/details/uh72400/air-steerable-bagless-upright/

I used to have a really nice one. It had some weird foreign name, I got it from my Mom. It broke on me so I got a cheapie Wal mart Dirt Devil and that thing couldn't handle my Dog's hair and broke within a month. I'm on the hunt for a new one that can handle a pretty large amount of pet hair.

Quoting Glo♥:" I have a vacuum that compares to a Dyson model it was $100 and it's pretty great I love it. It's an eureka vacuum air speed technology and it compares to the Dyson mod DC17, 25, and 33."

I will check into it. Do you happen to have (shedding) pets? LOL

I have the Dyson Ball Animal, DC15.
I want to say it was $600 when I bought it five years ago and it still acts like it's brand new.
I'm getting the DC41 and keeping my DC15 for use on our rental.

Oh shit. LOL.

It's true you get what you pay for. My mom has a $600 Riccar that she likes, but, she doesn't have pets.

I have two dogs and 3 cats. It has no issues cleaning the pet hair.

Ugh..

We have a bissel pet eraser..and the dust that flies out does suck..

However, we bought that hoover..the cord is short..and it does NOT pick up hair, ect like the bissel does at all. It was much lighter weight but I did not like it at all. I gave it to our MIL and then paid to repair the bissel we have instead. I paid all that money.. I should have just kept the bissel to start with.

I have the Shark Lift Away Rotator. I LOVE it! I have a shedding short hair dog and a cat and it sucks the hair right off!

I believe I got the vacuum along with a steam mop (which I also love) for around 250.

Dyson Animal Complete. I got it for $515 at Sams Club...but I think their on-line sale price is $550 now. It's awesome...especially with 4 kids and a big black cat that shed EVERYWHERE!

We also have an old Dyson All-floors that is about 5 years old and still works like new...I just got tired up lugging it up and down the stairs, so that's why we bought the dc41!

I can't wait to get the DC41. What attachments does it come with? I love the Zorb stuff, it smells so nice and does a wonderful job.

Dusting, stiff bristle and angle brushes. The stairs and combination tool, tangle free turbine tool...and Zorb! lol Oh and a fancy schmancy storage bag for all the tools...that I haven't even taken out of the plastic. I was just excited we have one on each floor...so tired of dragging it up/down these stairs.
