Quoting Ravey Candyass:" or you could, idk, do a scrapbook?"

:!: I think FB for kids who can't even use it themselves is stupid.

Have you thought about maybe a blog instead? You can update stuff about her and let family do the same.. it would be like a cyber baby book lol

Thanks everyone.. I don't want to do it and people think im crazy lol. I just wanted to do something that she can look back on.. I am one of those people that take 100 pictures a day, i already have a tub full of stuff that i am saving to give her once shes older... I guess when she gets that old, she can easily go look at my timeline. I write about everything she does lol.

You could ask family that lives far to write her a letter on every birthday. At birthday parties have a few sheets of scrapbook paper and ask everyone to write a little something to her. They have scrapbooks that you make all by yourself that dont have a age like the baby book you are talking about.

I really think that Facebook is a silly place to keep these updates. Get a journal, IMO.

What's "myspace"!?

Sorry OP: I think profile pages for kids are silly, it's right up there with profiles for pets!

I think it'd be really special to have something that your mom wrote in every day when she gets older. Maybe give it to her when she goes to college, or has a child of her own... Something handwritten would be so special.

It would. I think the reason i am like this is i only have a select few pictures of me growing up.. Like 4 tops.

Then print out pictures. Save pictures on a website, and on an external hard drive, print out your favorites. You don't need to make her a Facebook to keep pictures. Nothing is permanent, but especially Facebook for something like this.

Look into making a shutterfly photobook every year, or every few months, to go along with the journal.
