Okay, I'm not trying to insult you but how much time does your son spend in front of the tv?

Almost got your big girl pants!

Your mom sounds like a nut. As long as you are not smoking around your children or stoned out of your tree while caring for them, who cares. Tell her to mind her own business. (UNLESS you are living with her...)

I love Tim Burton. I am a fan of Coraline too.

Wow. That felt really rude. He noes not spend an excessive amount of time in front of the tv. And we never watch a whole movie through, we take long play break and go out for the day and shit.

Do you have a medical MJ card? If you do and you store your stuff in a safe place, and don't expose your son to it, I don't think DCF can even do anything.
But that's cool about him liking Coraline. I hope my kid has my taste in movies when he's older. Except not the violent ones lol.

It's decriminalized, and legal medically.

Well in every post you talk about how your kid is watching a movie... you post multiple times a day and there's only so many hours to be had. I wasn't trying to be rude per say just inquiring on an observation.

Sorry I post a lot. I'm just very defensive and it kind of feels like you are accusing me of not spending enough time with my kid and plunking him in front of the tv all the time. Do you think he shouldn't have any tv time at all?

No, I know you're there... if anything you're watching it with him.

Since you have your morning routine set up and love it, maybe later encourage him to play with lego or something instead of watching a movie. Just a suggestion... kids minds are sponges they don't need too much TV.

Unfortunately. But I pay rent and let her use my car whenever she wants to. Plus I have never smoked at her house, and all that jazz.

Well he often does both. Like I sit on the floor with him and play with stuff while a movie is on. So he can look at it, and also get some mommy playtime.
