What are your opinions on being a teen mother? Is it easy, hard or is your life pretty neutral?

It's pretty much the hardest task I ever had to take on. I love my daughter and I plan on making sure she's never in the same boat I was in.

Well parenting isn't easy for anyone, if they are doing it right. Neutral...as in it didn't change your life? If it didn't, then I'm wondering who is doing the parenting...grandma or teen mom? But a teen mom's life is only "ruined" if she allows it to be.

My life as a teen mom was hard. Have you ever had to be up all night with a screaming kid then wake up early and go to school? It was a struggle in lots of ways but I love my son and don't regret having him.

I am not a teen mother, but my mother was. I would guess it depends on your situation.

My mother had to hold off on future schooling, but she also lived with her mother who would watch me while she worked and still could go out. Of course she couldnt live the teen life that she wanted to, but she made it work.

The support system you have is a BIG factor.

Your teenage years is not your "life." She now has a degree in Medical assisting, married for 18 years (not to my biological father) and has a nice house and everything.

It's had being a young mother, but you just gotta do it. She makes me push harder to pursue my dreams and goals. I cannot imagine life without her.

It was hard as f**k. It doesn't stay that hard forever, but it is NOT easy at all. Balancing school, work, money, your child, bills...it's a lot to take on young.

Well first, I never ever called myself a teen mother. I was and still am simply a mother. It was a little more difficult but I still graduated high school, had a full time job, my own place, my own bills. That's not the case for everyone though, especially not just for teens. Parenting is hard no matter what age you are.

I feel you.I wish the same for mine.I think it'll be hard in the beginning. But I think It'll be pretty neutral. My life can never be the same with a baby.I have to do twice as much work. But I hope the best :)

I can't speak for myself since I was not a teen mom, but I am the product of a teen mom. My mother had me when she was 15 and she struggled from the time I was born. She ended up giving up her rights to me and I was adopted by my grandparents. My aunt on the other hand was also a teen mom and she did ok for herself. I think just like any aged mom it really depends on the person.

Hahaha, I gave up being a teen the moment I peed on that stick, chick. It was straight into adulthood for me.
