My 14 month old's legs are kind of bowed.
He walks almost like he's sitting in a saddle... if that makes any sense.
It doesn't effect him at all.
At what age should I bring this up to his doctor?
I know bowed legs are something that generally correct themselves as baby grows and starts becoming more and more mobile in toddler-hood... but at what point is it a concern?
At 2 years I was told. Years ago DD1 had the same issue and around 18 months I took her to a specialist and they told me she should grow out of it. If by 2 years they were still that way, then they'd start treatment. She grew out of it.
Why do bow legs need treatment? I have slight bowed legs, have my whole life.
My youngest is 19 months and we brought up his bow legs. They sent him to a specialist and we were told by age 3 they should fix themselves and if they dont to go back
My daughter's legs bowed until she was about 2.
