My kids have always listened to everything I do, I don't see an issue with it.

Yes I would let them and I do. My SO likes to put old school rap on pandora and the kids love listening to it. I listen to a mix of different genres which includes a lot more of rock and metal.

As long as there isnt curse words or its blatantly about sex, we are good. We use our music editing software to bleep it sometimes lol

My son sings TNT by ac/dc lol

m guessing the references to drinking ect would go right over their heads. Kind of like watching kids movies years later.

:!:

Unless it's just vulgar, I don't worry too much.

Most songs these days dont actually reference drinking lol, they are out right talking about going clubbing and drinking and sex lol.

This!, we listen to all kinds of music , I'm not a fan of rap or newer country music. My 14 year olds favorite band is Queen. We don't censor our music, my kids sing along and skip over the cuss words.

Yeah unfortunately me either, the new stuff they have out anymore is so vulgar. We love the oldies, i dont mean 70's 80's I mean like 30's-50's I just the soul of the music back then :) Of course i DO like some modern stuff just got to be careful with it.

Yeah I like 80's and before when I did listen to music. Any modern I did listen to was pretty clean though.

I don't like classic rock, but I don't see a problem with letting kids listen to it. That's just silly. :?
My 4 year old loves Nicki Minaj. Lol!

With the older kids we try to make sure whatever it is isn't too vulgar. And by that I mean we can't listen to the faints "erection" or bloodbaths "eaten" in the car anymore.

We are not radio listeners, so nothing is edited, but I try and keep the really bad stuff away from them.

Sure, but some songs I wouldn't allow if there's cursing, but most classic rocks songs don't even have cursing. And songs that talk about drug use or sex or something like that I wouldn't allow. But I find that most classic rock is rather clean for the most part.

Yeah, I don't censor much. Better classic rock than this Beiber/One direction garbage or rap songs about b***hes and guns and whatever else.
