We have recently decorated cardboard houses, made cork screw birds with beads, glitter, googly eyes.

Other activities I have on hand or expanding gel beads, foam soap with foam blocks, digging for 'bones' and other small animal toys, sensory bin.

I have been thinking about making pressing flowers and leaves to make book marks, cutting out nature photos to make magnets, making gingerbread people out of felt, google eyes, Popsicle sticks, watermelon seeds and pipe cleaners for magnets.

I need other kid friendly projects. Some that I have listed are just for fun. Others I plan on saving and having the kids wrap for Christmas when the time gets here.

ETA post and run nap time is over and won't be back for at least a few hours.

This has by far been our favorite craft:

It takes a lot of paint to make it look cool so it's one that lasts a while or can be put up and finished later. But DD could sit there for hours and paint so we always finish them.
