Quoting .Colleen.:" The fact is, sex sells. Always has, always will. I don't see that ever changing I think it's more ... [snip!] ... more important for girls to know that their accomplishments and self worth have absolutely nothing to do with their appearance."

:!: 100% agree and for boys too. I do find it interesting how different our idea of "sexy" is over the centuries and decades. Voluptuous and plump was hot in victorian times and farther back because it showed your wealth. Then you have women like Marilyn Monroe who was not skinny by our standards today.

Their jeans-and clothes in general- are pretty awesome fitting.

I have the shirts and I like them.

I've been hesitant with pants because I'm not as flexible in the bottom half.

I love NY&Co pants. They fit great.

Quoting .Colleen.:" That's not VS's fault that she made that choice"

I didn't say it was?

But the VS model standards are ridiculously insane, my friend is a professional model, she's signed in New York and London for big names, but to be considered for Victoria's Secret, her measurements are still too big, while she's 15-20lb underweight now (when in the picture, she was only 5lb). I actually want to say she's no longer striving to be a VS model, because she has now signed for bigger companies and has finally realized she doesn't need to get any smaller.

It would be nice to see a change in media though but that will be a slow process. I thought it was cute what Dove did."</blockquote>

VS carries up to a double D in stores. The websites carry higher.

I'll ask her, but she swore by them for forever. She's got large thighs, hips and butt and they fit her nicely.

It's funny how seeing a fat blob in lingerie does not inspire me to become a fat blob, but seeing a skinny model in lingerie inspires me to be skinny.
