If you don't count tonight cuz it's basically over, or Thursday since you don't add the actual day cuz that doesn't count as counting down, it's 3 days
Edited cuz I was going for double your shock value.

My shopping choices would not change if I were to go on foodstamps, other than to cut back on splurges. Meat, potatos, vegetables, fruits, cereals, and ingredients for my weekly meal plan, household staples, kids snacks, I definately would not blow it all in one day and would have to pinch pennies, but would not expect my family to live on ramen.

Quoting I♥RYLEIGH:" How much does one usually get in "food stamps"? how does it even work? Is it literally stamps lol?"

It used to be literally stamps, that came in a booklet. I got them in the 90's for a few months when my Daughter was born to hold me over while I found a job and started bringing in a steady income ....they were paper stamps. Bright colored that said USDA Food Stamps and the amount they were good for on them. Apparently that changed and now it comes on a debit card. Which I think is cool, and wish they did when I used them, it sucked having to pull out your bright ass neon stamps while the people in line behind you clucked their tongues over their tax dollar.
