What type of Soy Milk do you Momma use for your child who is Lactose?? My daughter just turned 1 yesterday and her doctor told us to try to give her Whole milk starting June 1st to see how she does. But today at her check up I told her doctor that she isn't doing to well with milk, so we got the ok to switch her to Soy. But I'm just wondering what kind of soy. I know there Almond Milk and the Silk. Also we were also using formula and not giving her just milk the whole time.. TIA
Soy milk is not a good everyday milk alternative. It's full of estrogen and ingesting it everyday can cause issues. My nephew has thyroid issues since all the estrogen he had as a baby. He was in soy formula and soy milk because the mother thougt it was better. The boy has been overweight his whole life now.
I'd go with almond or coconut milk. My son has been on a combination of the 2, since he turned 1.
I give my 81 month old almond milk, soy has to much estrogen in it for my liking.
I swap between almond, soy, rice and coconut milk!
Quoting Aryann's Mommy:" I give my 81 month old almond milk, soy has to much estrogen in it for my liking."
Quoting Ravey Candyass:" 81 months? just say years dude."

She most likely meant 18..
My kids are lactose intolerant and I give them lactose free cow milk.
Quoting Ravey Candyass:" considering her only kid was born in 2011, i doubt it."
eh, its possible if she was born in late 2011 to be 18 months-ish.
I had no idea that soy causes problems.. I tried her on almond milk and she LOVES it.. I have also tried soy milk and she wasn't to fond of it, so almond milk is all she wants..
Thank you again so much!!!
