35 mins with my first and 10 mins with my second.
Maybe 10-15 minutes with my first and 5 minutes (if that) with my second.
7 hours that ended in a forcepts delivery. I'm hoping #2 will be much faster... :/
Quoting homes cool:" First I had an epidural and labored in a hospital bed. Second I labored at home and had no drugs. Got ... [snip!] ... up with a very severe tear, and 163 stitches with my first. I was determined to not let that happen again & it didn't!"
Whoa, you are AMAZING! Props on what you endured for #1 and your huge change with #2! I am hoping to go natural w/ my next and avoid being cut again. Any suggestions?
OP, I pushed for 45min with an epidural and unfortunately still had an episiotomy.

It was all about being able to move around when I needed to, and feeling comfortable during labor (for me was being in my own home.) I tried the shower, rocked on all fours, held onto the couch...whatever worked in the moment.
48 minutes with my first. One contraction with my second...so probably like one or two minutes, if that. I was already dilated and ready to push when we got to the hospital. 16 minutes from start to finish - checking in until holding her.. It was intense.
1st: 20 minutes

1st one I probably pushed for an hour or so.

1st & only one was about 25 minutes. I started pushing a little bit before 3 and had him out at 3:21.
2 n half hours im hoping next time around it'll be like 5mins or somethin lol that would be sweet. They we tryin the vaccum thing with me but it didnt work til the cut me.
With my VBAC I pushed for about a half an hour.
With my first son, I had an epi. They shut it off when I started to push. I pushed for 15 minutes.
With my second and third son, no epi or pain meds. I didn't push. I was told both times not to push because they were still setting up. Lol. So I was trying to hold them in but they weren't waiting!
