My 3 year old is consistently pooping on the potty every time she has to go. But, she hasn't shown any interest in peeing on it. Is there something you have done to help get yours interested in peeing too? Or should I just look at this as progress, and when she's ready, she will?
Are you using pull ups or anything like that during the day? I know DD HATES having pee accidents, she hates the pee running down her leg and freaks when it happens (has only happened a few times actually). When we were using pull ups she had no interest in peeing on the toilet until we just got rid of them.
Although I'm not sure what kind of method you're using so it's hard to give suggestions.
I've tried undies and she just pees in them without hesitation, and doesn't seem to mind once she does. We just use pull-ups and diapers. I suppose getting rid of those would be a good idea.
We do the sticker chart/pick a prize everytime she gets 5 stickers. She will pee 5 times close together to get the prize, and then give up the rest of the day.
Potty training can be so hard, I've also been there. But luckily I stumbled upon www.pottytrainingboysgirls.org and tried a 3 day method I found there.
That really worked GREAT, wish I knew of that earlier.
Can really recommend it to every parent that is struggling out there!
