Assuming you had a hospital birth, of course. I just wanted to see how common it is to happen...
Mine began leaking before I was admitted with my first son.
Mine broke at home.
1st son it was broken at the hospital
2nd son it broke as i was walking into wal-mart
With my first, it leaked for a few hours then I went to the hospital. Then was induced and they broke it the rest of the way. With my second I was induced and they had to break my water later in the day.
Mines broke at home.
Mine was artificially ruptured when I was at 7 cm. I was already feeling the urge to push and my midwife thought breaking my water would get me to 10 cm fast. It worked! DD was born 45 min later.
I was having contractions all day, and went to the hospital when they were 5 min apart. They took me to triage to monitor me, and my water broke there. I was admitted after that
First my water broke at home. I had puddles behind me as I was walking through the hospital lol.
Second they broke it when I was 5cm to try and speed things up.
Third broke on the nurses hand as she was checking me for dilation lol. I felt so bad. It was all over her.
2 babies I was induced, they broke my water,
My last baby was all natural, water broke at home, it was a medium flow trickle, I put pad on 15 mins took to get to hosp, pad was soaked and it was gushing by then
First one broke on it's own. Second one was ruptured during induction. 3rd was also ruptured during induction and 4th was leaking.
Broke at home, which I've been told is unusual for a 1st baby. Never had a contraction or any indication of labor before then.
