Quoting Moma5:" Thank you for the support. I feel as though im being attacked for not being on birth control right now ( could be my hormones - not trying to be mean ladies )"

I don't think it is the BC. I think it is the having sex too soon and not letting your body heal. It's not safe, so I'd say they are simply concerned.
I don't use any form of birth control and never will. We've use the POM for 12 years. I get sick as well when it comes to hormonal BC.

we successfully did the pull out and calendar tracking of my most likely days to get pregnant and avoiding having sex on those days for YEARS and never go pregnant until we decided to try.

Thank you, and agree.
Its not that I just don't want to take it for the fun of it.
I have tried many and they have made me very sick.
I don't want to have an injection and end up SO sick because its in my blood stream, I don't want something placed inside of me as that terrifies me and there are a lot of risks. I have my reasons and my doctor understands this.

Like I said I am not going to be overly upset if I am pregnant, I am not a teenager, I am already a mother of 5 ( 4 here on earth )
All I want to know is how likely it is for me to be pregnant when I don't know if I am ovulating and if I haven't had a period.
I mean if Im not pregnant than we are done, if I am .. than it was meant to be,

birth control refers to ANY method of preventing pregnancy, not just hormonal contraceptives.

If you don't mind me asking how old are your children?

I completely understand not taking birth control pills. We use Natural family planning, but know we could handle another child if NFP failed for us.

So sorry for your loss. My last three children are close in age. 2nd and 3rd are 12 months 3 wks apart and my 3rd and fourth are 10 months 1 wk apart. If you are pregnant again I wish you the best of luck make sure you take good care of yourself. I know it's hard when you have little ones.

Thank you very much, really appreciate it.
After the twins my husband was ready to get fixed, for some reason he never did and than we lost our child. Since we have had two more. I am a strong believe in everything happens for a reason. My husband will still be getting fixed. If I am pregnant than it will for sure be our last one, if I am not than it was a sign we were done with our 6 week old :) - That's how I like to look at it anyways.

Wow you're a busy mom to! Congrats on all your blessings <3
