I'm a single mom and my sons dad is involved. But my question is I can legally move anywhere in the state of illinois without question or his consent right?

You can. You just can't move out of state if it is in your custody agreement.

What does your custody order state?

In some, it gives you a set amount of miles/km that you can move without permission.

Would you moving disrupt visitation?

DH and his daughter's mom have no custody order set up, but when she moved, she still sent him a certified letter within the month of her going. Truthfully, that is how it is documented in my own custody papers that I paid $900 to get... I think it just saves your ass later on.
