Do you believe that George Zimmerman acted in self defense when he killed Trayvon Martin?

What was he going to do? Skittle him to death? Death by iced tea? I'm not buying it, not one bit.

No not at all. The 911 call says it all. He killed him because he was a racist f**k.

It's hard to say. I saw pictures they had in his phone of him and a gun and shit. So e weed plants growing and shit. Seems like he was trying to be "gangster" . But idk I don't know the details. It's sad

Nope he was an unarmed teenager and Zimmerman basically stalked him with a gun after the dispatcher told him not to. Had he listened then Trayvon would still have his life and Zimmerman wouldn't be in jail.

My family has a ton of pictures of me with guns. I got my first gun when I was 8 and have been an avid gun enthusiast my whole life. Having pictures on his phone of this stuff, has ZERO to do with what he was doing that evening...walking down the street, keeping to himself, drinking tea and eating skittles. I've done the same thing many times, often in a hoodie, too - there are pictures on my phone of me with a wide variety of guns, everything from plinkers to ARs. Should I be killed, too?

Straight up, no - the difference here, is that I am a white female in the suburbs. It's not that Trayvon Martin was doing anything he shouldn't that night - just like I'm not when I do the same thing. But yet because he was a black adolescent male in the city, this racist idiot felt justified in murdering him in cold blood.

It doesn't it effects how the jury views him.

the one thing that annoyed me was that people were bitching that he was wearing a hoodie, and saying why the f**k was he wearing that if he wasn't trying to appear gangster, and maybe if some of these people would have read a little more, they would have realized it was raining when he was walking, but so the f**k what if he was wearing a hoodie

From what I have read about today's proceedings, that info is not going to be admissible.

Hoodies make you gangster? Heh, I'm a straight up G then

I love hoodies. They're comfortable. They're warm. A lot of people love them for the same reasons.
