Hi I'm 36+7 weeks and at 5:30 I felt like I really needed to go to the toilet and I slept out in the lounge cause at the moment that's where I'm comfortable sleeping at the moment anyway it wasn't till I got about a meter away from the toilet in my bedroom I felt this liquid just come out at first I thort I was peeing myself but it was all clear and didn't have a smell to it so I'm going to wait cause I don't have any pains at the moment and the hospital I'm delivering at is a hour away so should I just make a appointment with my gp and ask them to check or just leave it if I don't have any pains????

Thanks in advance
Xxxxx

If you think you are leaking I would call the on call nurse or come in so they can test you but if you dont want to go right away put a pad on lay down for about an hour and stand up if it gushes out again that is your answer and i would definitely go get checked and make sure everything is ok

Make an appointment even if you don't have pains.

Put a pad on and if it fills in the next hour I would go to the hospital.

You have 48 hours after the water breaks so lounge for awhile and than stand if it gushes it was prolly the water

I'd say that depends on the hospital. They will let you go 18-24 hours (tops) with a broken water at my OB office.

I agree. Any hospital I have ever been to only allows 24 hours.

I'd say that's your water honestly. That's what happened with my youngest and his head ended up plugging it up, along with developing a buldging sac of water by his head. My water fully broke at 4:34am & I didn't go to the hospital till 6:20am, he was born at 10:31am

I vote its your waters please be careful if you get a fever or anything like that go straight to the hospital, infection can kill you both.

Keep a time count on how long it's been since it first happened in case it is your water, they need to give you antibiotics

Maybe your hosiptals only allow you to go that long, but it's 48 hours bfore you risk infection
