What is the best way to loose weight. I have tried diet pills worked then stopped. I tried eating less and I work out 5-6 days a week. I have my brothers wedding in October and I have loose about 25-30 pounds to fit into my dress. I ordered it a size smaller then I am cause I was loosing weight and now I gained some of it back. What is a good and healthy way to loose it and keep it off??
go slow, one day at a time
cut your calories and up your protein, workout doing cardio and weights.
It depends. For me, the best way is to limit how much I eat, rather than what I eat. I tend to binge on junk when I restrict my foods. I make sure that I don't eat unless I feel hungry, and then I stop when I don't feel hungry anymore (opposed to eating until I'm full). I've been losing weight pretty slowly that way, but I feel like slower is better or me because it'll be easier to keep it off.
ETA: I pretty much exclusively drink water now, with the exception of milk a couple times a week and rare occasions when I have pop.
Cut out soda, sweet tea, and any other sugary drinks. Eat a lot of protein. Are you doing cardio and strength training?
Thank you!!! I walk/run the treadmill and do weights. I had a terrible knee injury and now that it is better I feel like I can go back to my regular routine. I also just had a baby back in November so I am so ready to get down to my pre baby body

If you have a baby, then breast feed.

I am walking/run the treadmill and weight lifting

I was breast feeding but with my oldest I was always at his therapy appointments that I dried up and now he is formula feed. I tried to pump and take the fenugreek pills but nothing helped
Clean eating is probably the most important.. Strength training and cardio.
Quoting Ravey Candyass:" that's not a way. that doens't always work. OP, watch what you eat. I cut out all junk (except on ... [snip!] ... of water. when you workout make sure you eat enough calories to keep up with that. at LEAST 1200 a day. that's bare minimum."
So if I eat 1200-1300 calories a day and burn 400+ calories is that bad or good?
<blockquote><b>Quoting bama mommy:</b>" So if I eat 1200-1300 calories a day and burn 400+ calories is that bad or good?"</blockquote>
No. You need at least 1200 AFTER you burn your calories. So, if you burn 400, you need to eat 1600.
<blockquote><b>Quoting Ravey Candyass:</b>" but what would be the point of what you burn?"</blockquote>
Well, exercising is good for your heart, but you should never go below 1200, after burning calories. That puts your body into starvation mode, just as if you were to eat only 800. You will still lose weight.
Thank you everyone!! I mostly go from Monday-Saturday to work out. I always go after I put my kids into bed at night. I go then cause it helps me relax and I am able to sleep great at night.
Initial weight loss is largely due to loss of water, and you need to drink an adequate amount of water in order to avoid dehydration. The process of burning calories requires an adequate supply of water in order to function efficiently; dehydration slows down the fat-burning process. Burning calories creates toxins (think of the exhaust coming out of your car), and water plays a vital role in flushing them out of your body. Dehydration causes a reduction in blood volume; a reduction in blood volume causes a reduction in the supply of oxygen to your muscles; and a reduction in the supply of oxygen to your muscles can make you feel tired. Water helps maintain muscle tone by assisting muscles in their ability to contract, and it lubricates your joints. Proper hydration can help reduce muscle and joint soreness when exercising. A healthy (weight loss) diet includes a good amount of fiber. But while fiber is normally helpful to your digestive system, without adequate fluids it can cause constipation instead of helping to eliminate it. Drinking water with a meal may make you feel full sooner and therefore satisfied eating less. Note, however, that drinking water alone may not have this effect. In order to feel satiated (not hungry), our bodies need bulk, calories and nutrients.so please drink clean and filtered water and to know about water filtration click here: - WATER FILTER REVIEWS AND INFORMATION
