I sadly had a m/c back in December at 9 weeks due to blighted ovum :(
My cycles have been a bit out of whack since so I started using opk's this month to try & pin point ov so started on cd 12 & had a positive on cd15. 10dpo using a cheap hpt it was a BFN so when I reached 16dpo yesterday I done another test it was a very faint BFP. Hubby & I thought we had line eyes so went to local chemist & pharmacist could also see the line as well but phone can't pick the line up so no point posting a pic otherwise I would of.
Even though tests says i am i'm finding myself hard to believe it & convinced i'm going to be coming down with a bump, it's like i'm waiting for af to show up. One thing that worries me is the test is so faint & I don't want to get to attatched just in case I have another m/c .
Is it natural to feel like this?
Very normal. I had 3 consecutive miscarriages and I got more paranoid with each subsequent pregnancy. I'm 30 weeks now and I still check for blood every time I use the bathroom. Sticky dust to you!
Quoting Squeaky McGee [30 wks]:" Very normal. I had 3 consecutive miscarriages and I got more paranoid with each subsequent pregnancy. I'm 30 weeks now and I still check for blood every time I use the bathroom. Sticky dust to you!"
Same here, but my miscarriages weren't consecutive. I had one after each of my kids was born(months later, of course). I'm 34 weeks today, and, like Squeaky, I still check for blood every time.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I had spotting early in my second trimester and it freaked me the hell out!
So, so very normal. After my two miscarriages I had a successful pregnancy and am now pregnant again. I'm constantly worried, I'm 11 weeks right now and just count down days to my next doctors appointment, I need reassurance from ultrasounds or a Doppler to make me feel better temporarily. Just like Squeaky McGee, I also check for blood every time I pee. It's terrible I wish I could relax. Try to think positive as hard as that may be!
I had BFP on Sept.11, 2012 then m/c on Sept. 30, 2012. I hadnt gotten AF by Oct. 30, 2012 so I bought a test and took it to work with me (I work 3rd shift) it was faint at first but there was a line I left it and came back to a lil later and it was a really dark line. I didnt tell anyone (thought maybe my levels didnt go all the way back down yet) and a couple of weeks later I told SO that I hadnt gotten AF yet so I went and got another test and it was BFP again so I had an appointment at the WIC office a few days later and they did another test and again BFP. I went to the doctor and they did blood work and an US and there was a sac so they scheduled me for another US in 2 weeks and sure enough there was a heartbeat (never was with the first). I was so excited but yet scared of another MC until I started to feel movement. I even went online and ordered a fetal heartbeat monitor so I could have piece of mind. Im now 33 weeks today with a girl. Some stuff still scares me because my DD is 11 and a half and I cant remember it I had it with her. Sending sticky dust your way.
Thanks ladies :) x
I think i'll be more reassured once i've had a scan in a few weeks time & get out of first trimester, i'm checking for blood as well.
If all goes well with this one that's it no more for me can't be doing with this stress & anxiety. Hubby & I just want a baby that we can say is ours even though we've both got children from previous relationships.
