Quoting Just Ames:" I agree. I think the daycare did right by the child. If anything the BD should have taken the pull up off when they got home. OP, did you go off on the daycare about this?"

No I didn't :? And I think you need to stop being such a b***h.
I am however going to request that they take the diaper off after naptime after I bring her undies in today.
I'm going to ask them to do it with my two year old too.

It's alright. I understand, it can be frustrating when you're afriad of them regressing. I think sometimes we dig our heels in about something and stop seeing the big picture. I totally understand not wanting it to continue, so make sure you bring her some extra panties and then let it slide for yesterday. Decide if one day in a pull up is really worth the battle, and you'll probably decide it isn't. *hugs*

I don't think he was persay thrilled about it but he does tend to be lazy so I'm sure he didn't even think about taking it off.
I really tried to not make it a big deal. She said she had to go pee so I walked her over to the potty and when she was sitting there I pulled them the rest of the way off.
She usually sleeps completely naked so I figured it wouldn't be a big deal to her but she screamed and kept asking for her diaper.
After I let her come lay down with me for a little while she finally calmed down some. And eventually fell asleep. I'm just going to talk to the daycare about it. They seem really cool and I'm sure they will be ok with not putting one back on her.

I think "thrilled" was him takling about her liking to wear them. They probably were like cool fancy panties (since most have cool characters and colors on them).

I personally think that it was blown out of proportion. The daycare did what they thought was best under the circumstances, you aggression should have been taken out on them instead of your 3 year old who doesn't know any better. She did what she was told by the people who are in charge of watching her. If it causes her to "regress" then oh well, you deal with it the best you can, simple as that.

If they put her in a pull up... honestly it's your own fault because you didnt provide a change of clothes. They did what they had to do. What did you expect them to do, let your kid go commando? And I think your kid getting a decent night of sleep is more important than YOUR need for your child to wear panties.

Where did you see that I took any aggression out on anyone? :?
I didn't get mad at anyone and was very quiet and explained (as best you can to a 3 year old) why she was to old for a pull-up.
She got over and now I'm over it.

So I just picked up the girls and found out that it was a new teacher and she got the pull-up from another girls cubby. :) I took in three pairs of undies and asked that if she was to run out to just let her go comando since she does it at home all the time.
And Reilly hasn't asked about the "diaper" since last night before she fell asleep with me :)
Everything is all good now.

Well.... you interupted your child's sleep because you wanted to fight with her about a pull up.... :?

The last daycare they went to didn't care either. Hell the one before that didn't care either. This was the first accident she's had since she was first potty training so I really doubt it will come up very often if at all, especially if we keep diapers/pull-ups off of her.

That's not what you said though. "So as soon as I saw it I took it off.
She flipped the f**k out. Screaming at 2am. So I picked her up and put her on her potty and tried to explain to her (through the screaming) that only babies wear diapers and big girls go potty on the big girl potty.
Well she continued to scream
"

Even then, why did you pick 2 am to continue to tell her she would wear panties? Just let her say what she wants, then talk about it in the morning when you're both more rational and had a good night's sleep. Whatever though. It's your kid. shrug.

Jesus, I have palpitations even looking at this. When my kids are awake in the middle of the night, all I want to do is get them back to sleep. No arguments from me. Do what you want, but go the f*** to sleep...
