Anyone skip buying newborn clothes and just buy 0-3?
Did they fit well enough on your baby?
How big was your baby, also in length...???

I wouldn't. even NB were kinda big on my babies. my DD is understandable, she was early but my son was full term but weighed 6 lbs 5oz. and 21 in.

I barely had any nb with my first, which was good because they fit him for about 3 days. He was 8lbs 13oz 21 in long. I skipped buying any nb this time and went straight for the 0-3...even if it is slightly big it won't be for long!

We had a few NB outfits but mostly 0-3. He wore the few NB outfits for only a few days. But I would have a couple at least.

I skipped with my first daughter and she was 6 pounds at 40 weeks. 0-3 was huge on her than we went and bought a few things that fit her. This one I have newborn for!

I had newborn stuff, DD wore it for like 3 days. DD wasn't even that big, but for some reason NB was really snug on her. We skipped it with DS, assuming the whole "your second is bigger and boys are bigger" theory.. uh..ya.. he was an entire pound smaller than DD and DH ran out and bought some NB stuff, which he can still wear at 7 weeks.

My.oldest was 5lb 15oz & 18.5", he wore nb for a good two months.
My middle was 9lb 1 oz and 21.5", nb was too tight on him.
my youngest was 6lb 10oz &19", she'll be 5wks tomorrow and can still fit in some nb, but mostly 0-3 now.

My daughter was 7 lbs 14 oz and 21" long. She was in newborn for 6 weeks. My son was 9 lbs 4 oz and 20" long. He fits in a few of the bigger newborn outfits but 0-3 is perfect on him.

I love the little bitty newborn clothes. I definitely haven't bought that many, but I had to have some. My son was barely big enough for the newborn clothing when he was born, so I think it's good to have some. He would have been lost in a 0-3, I think.

For some reason I can not remember how long my kids were in NB. My 1st was 8 lbs 10 oz and 21.5 in. I dont think he was in NB for more than a few days. 2nd was 7lbs 4oz and 19.5in. 3rd was 8lbs and 2o.5 inches. I cant remember how long either of them were in NB.

My oldest was 8lbs 11 oz and 22 inches born at 40.6 weeks and he skipped the newborn all together. My second was 9lbs 3oz 21 inches born at 39 weeks and he also skipped the newborn clothes and diapers. I took both a newborn and a 0-3 month outfit to the hospital and never needed the newborn only had a few nb clothes anyway. I was expecting it though babies seem to run big in my family.
