How accurate are blood pregnancy tests?
I was informed Friday that the HCG level was in the 900 range which puts me at 3-4 weeks. I have also been taking Hair Vitamins....can that make a blood test show a false positive?
I don't go back to the doctor until June 7
Blood tests are more accurate than a home pregnancy test.
I have never heard of false positive on a blood test... and I'm sure that hair vitamins would not cause a surge in hcg

Yes but is it a chance that it could be negative?

Its not likely. Hcg is only produced during pregnancy.
there is no way for there to be a false positive especially thru a blood test because hcg is only produced during pregnancy. i also took hair vitamins before i got pregnant but that does not contain hcg
