I might would let her get her cartilage pierced but as far as everything else goes, no. not at 14. and def no tattoos.. she can get them when she is old enough to pay for them and doesn't need a signature.
Piercings yes, as long as they are allowed at school or can be covered up. Tattoos, no, no, and no.
Quoting ♀NoBoysAllowed:" NO! Nonononono! Tattoos are FOREVER. I would let my girls get their ears pierced, but nothing else. My ... [snip!] ... taking it out, and that hole is still there. Now, I'm too old to pull off a nose ring, but I have this ugly hole on my face."
OT- I love your avi! After seeing that episode, it made me fall in love with him all over again :D
<blockquote><b>Quoting Nikkie Beee:</b>" This is my exact reason on why I won't cover mine up either. But, idk if I can take it much longer. It's horrible lol."</blockquote>
Same here. I can't wear shirts or a bathing suit without someone saying something or asking what she is.

I know, he was getting pretty stale and grumpy lately!

I know! I didn't like it. Now he's starting to be all McDreamy again, just the hot 'dilf' version lol.
Quoting Addy & Grace's Mom:" Would you ever let your young teenager get tattoos or multiple piercings? My sister has let her 14 year ... [snip!] ... body. Anyway would you let your young teen get tattoos and piercings? Just want to see other peoples opinions on the subject."
I'd allow tattoos at 16 or 17 as long as it isn't asinine. Depending on the piercing, it would depend on what age I'd allow her to get it. Maybe 17 for tongue or belly button, but multiple ear piercings? I honestly don't give a damn.
Hell no on the tattoos but, piercings would have to depend on the child's behavior. I admit when I was that age I wanted tattoos but, I am GLAD that I never got them. I would've gotten something stupid and of course it would've been unprofessional in someone's garage.
When I was 14 I got my mom's consent on a nose piercing after my 8th grade promotion. At 17 I got my tongue pierced for getting my first set of straight A's. I thought I was a cool guy until it my body rejected it:P
For my own daughter I wouldn't let her get any tattoos until she's over 18 and no major piercings until she's at least a Junior in HS.
I mean... I know piercings don't have to be permanent, but I don't feel like they're appropriate for a minor. This is coming from someone who pierced her own nose with a safety pin at 15---not because I wasn't allowed to do so any other way, but because it was '94 and I was really "cool" like that.
I hope my kids are cooler than I was and can express themselves in better ways than body modification until they're 18.
You can't even get a professional tattoo here where I live, even with parental consent, before 18.

Same for CA.
It's 16 with consent here.. tattoos
I don't see what would be wrong piercings. My dad made me get my nose done at 11. I hated it and so did my mother. My mother wasn't happy when we came back with it done lol. I don't think a child should get a tattoo until at least 17. But everyone's different.

Why would your dad make you

My father is the kind of a guy if he wants it done it happens. He beat my mother for 13 years without anyone knowing. I hate that man deeply.
