I still feel like it's not buttercream frosting that I'm looking for.. but I will give it a try and see how it goes.. thanks..

Maybe cream cheese frosting? It's really good too. You usually see it on carrot cake and red velvet cake. Yum.

I still prefer flour frosting over cream cheese frosting lol.

It's kind of an older frosting that a lot of people haven't heard of. I found it when looking to top red velvet cupcakes besides cream cheese.

I know. I'm gonna make a pineapple upside down cake tomorrow. No frosting but it's still tasty. Lol

If you take a white cake mix and use a 20oz can of crushed pineapple then cook it, so good. That is all you use too no eggs, butter or oil. I use cupcake or muffin pan for that.

I usually just take the sliced pineapple and place it on the bottom of the pan with butter and brown sugar and then pour regular white (box) cake mix over top. Yum!



But I will have to try your way one day. :)
