i jsut think this is so stupid! until 18 kkids should have to go speak to a doctor, i think it is already pretty easy to get Plan B , if kids feel they are responsible enough to have sex, then they should be responsible enough to go speak to a doctor and face their issues.

Great. Too bad they don't have a Plan B for STDs.
And, who ever said I am anti-f**king?

So, educated people don't have unwanted pregnancies or STDs?

why do you think they need to talk to their doctor about a pill thats safe and you only have to take one time? you have to take it within 72 hours anyways and from my experience i cant get a doctors appointment within three days AND the point is that their parents dont have to know but if they have to see a doctor how are there parents not gonna know??

well there is always that percentage of girls that will use abortions as bc which is sad because your body and mind and emotions go through alot. Im pro choice but even I see the danger of that and I dont agree with it... BUT plan B is not physically taxing, and except for the normal worry of being pregnant taking it isnt emotionally and mentally taxing. I think its harmful if you take so many times in a certain amount of time but hopefully its being regulated... as for those girls who will use it as bc, well like someone else said better that than having babies!

it really is not that safe, especially if say a 15 year old takes one ever other month bc they had an accident. kids are irresponsible and are just getting into the whole sex life, they are stupid and make mistakes. Plan B- they are a very harmful and dangerous dosage of the hormonal steroid progestin that has already been proven to cause breast cancer, blood clots, cervical cancer, arterial plaque, and liver cancer in far lower dosages (birth control pills). Additionally, they deplete a woman

so having a baby is less stressful physically, emotionally, and mentally than taking pan b?

It wasn't that hard to get before this happened...I was 15 and I still got it. Most teenagers have a friend that's 18 that would get it for them anyway.

ummm NO? thats not AT ALL what i am getting at! i am saying plan B is not a vitamin. its a a steroids and hormones in high doses being pumped into your body to make you stop releasing your egg. It is not something that should be taken lightly by under 18 years of age. i am more so referring to the 15-16 bracket, at which age a lot of girls are still very much so developing. and to be able to freely go out and get it as often as they please since there are no restrictions on it, is just going to cause more health problem for those people in the future. which just means this whole pharmaseutical world is of course going to get exacly what they want. $$$$$$

And how many teens do you know that think "hey, there's this pill that I can get someone to get for me right now and I won't get pregnant...oh wait, better not, let's go talk to my parents and get them to make me a doctor's appointment which is in three days and by then the pill won't even work".

you dont have to have parents come with you, you never did. there was always confidentiality with say Planned Parenthood, to which you could go and buy plan B right there and there, but a file is made for that "Patient" because it is a medical issue.
