I had a D&C on Thursday, March 28th. I went in for an US thinking i was 10 weeks and our baby had stopped growing at 8 weeks. I was devastated. I opted for an D&C and was fine through Sunday, March 31st... no blood, no cramps, just tired. Sunday morning at 3 am, I woke up in excruciating pain and the urge to push. I pushed out tons and tons of blood clots throughout the night and next day. I called the doctor and they said it was normal and expected. I went in for my two week post op on April 10th and she said everything was fine, uterus was small and cervix was closed and we can get back to trying after one AF and checked my hcg levels and they were at 650. I went in on April 16th and my hcg was 250. I just got my levels checked on April 24th and am waiting for my doctor to call and let me know what my levels are at. While I was waiting this weekend, I got my AF on Saturday April 26th so I am assuming my levels are low enough to get a period however, my Wondfo Pregnancy Tests shows a slight positive.. very faint, but enough to see.

I am so anxious and excited to get pregnant again. We are going to TTC this month and I just wanted to know how many people have gotten pregnant after D&C and after their first AF?

It was a long time. :(

But honsetly, for me, I believe the stress of trying to get pregnant with no results prevented it from happening (if that makes sense).

As soon as we quit trying, I got pregnant. And we hardly tried at all with this pregnancy!

You're generally more fertile after a pregnancy. You can definitely get pregnant without having a period in between ;) my dr recommends at least 1 cycle before ttc invade the lining is a bit thinner from the d&c. We didn't listen to him though and have a 10 month old daughter now :P
