Question do you wipe your child after ever pee diaper? (Boy or girl)
I usually wipe him in the morning after I change his diaper and then at night and put baby powder on his butt for the night. I don't wipe him after every pee change for poop of course I do. Curious what other mama's do!

i'm to paranoid to NOT wipe her...but she's a girl, not sure if i would with a boy but probably because it gets all over the diaper area?

Yes, I did. Why wouldn't I? Urine may be "sterile" as some like to argue, but it's acidic and can irritate the skin if left on it.

Why the f**k wouldn't you wipe your child every time they had a dirty diaper, even if it is just pee? It gets soaked into the diaper sure, but the diaper is pressed against babies skin, so the pee does get on them. That is just nasty and poor hygiene, your child could get an infection or have skin problems from that. I mean don't you wipe yourself after every time you pee?

I pee outside too, but I still wipe. That is just nasty.

Every time. Even if it's just a quick wipe down. Every time.

When I used to use disposable wipes, I didn't. The chemicals irritated his skin. I use water on a cloth at home.

Then I switched to cloth wipes full-time and I did til potty training.
