my son is almost 27 months old and hes not potty trained yet. I bought him his own potty and he sits on it now and than but i know hes not ready yet and im not gonna push him
I had my oldest DAY potty trained by 3 but he just started in the last few months to sleep through the night without a pull-up..
My son turned 3 last month and still isn't potty trained. He knows what it's for and that he's supposed to use it but doesn't. If we leave he naked he'll pee in a corner. If we put him in underwear or a pull up he uses them like a diaper. If I catch him before he starts pooping (he gives signs) and ask if he wants to use a potty he screams noooooooo.
That said, I've been getting shit from my mil since right before he turned two about him not being potty trained because SO and his sister were at about 18 months. And because SOs niece has been since 15 months (her and my son are 2 months apart, my son being older) . So I CONSTANTLY get crap about it. And now my mom is starting in on it too...
every child is different and trains at different times, some train exceptionally early and others may not train till closer to 4. whatever it is, wait till your child shows interest and then feed on that.
Noah's almost 2 1/2 and not potty trained. He tries because he wants to sometimes but he's not ready yet and that's fine. We're aiming for him to be potty trained fully by 3 1/2 to 4, and starting when he's ready
hahahah logan is gonna be 4 in august....im hoping by then we can get him in real underwear.
hes no where close now.
Quoting A Beautiful Disaster:" Is this her only son? Only child?"
no she has two older children as well, but he is the youngest
Don't feel bad! My family used to complain because my daughter wasn't potty trained when she was 1:? My grandmother said your dad was when he was 10 months, yeah right!!
But my son is 2. I haven't started yet he gets on the potty for a few seconds but won't do anything. I'm gonna keep encouraging but not forcing him. When my daughter was ready she trained really fast.
16 months? Ha. My son is 17 months and not ready...if there are sins in Summer I will try then, when he's 2.
