My sister lives in the lower peninsula and spent all day yesterday bitching about rain.
I live in the Upper Peninsula.
All the area schools are closed, or giving early releases because we are in a blizzard warning.
BLIZZARD WARNING. In APRIL.
Also, while I can't see out any of my windows because they're plastered with snow, the weather channel thought I should be advised that even though its been snowing since last night, that I should expect snow starting at 1:30pm.
End rant.

Which school? I'm just a few miles from Finlandia University and Michigan Tech!
Usually it's not to bad, we get more snow but it's a lot colder down there, so it balances, I've never seen snow like this this late in the year.

I loathe snow all year round. I just can't move away from here because the cost of living is ridiculous cheap. :( lol

Michigan Tech. The thing I hate about MI is in the same day we will have rain, snow, hail, and 60 degrees with bright shinning sun lol

I'm walking distance to tech, to be fair it is BEAUTIFUL up here in the summer. But yes! Yesterday morning it was 45 then it dropped and it started freezing rain and hail and now... mass amounts of snow.

Ugh no way lol I'm so glad the snow is gone here. It's suppose to snow this weekend but nothing will stick so I guess it's ok :) I'm ready for some warmer weather though so I can start walking.

I'm with you. I'm tired of cold and winter weather. Our high the next ten days isn't predicted to go over 40.
I'm beginning to think there will be no summer. :(

Well that sucks, I remember it snowing here in April down here but it's been a while. To be honest though, I would take the snow over this rain right now because all this rain is flooding my basement and it's very stressful.

I'm hoping that since it's taking forever to get nice that the snow won't be so bad this winter lol I don't really want to bring the new baby home in a snow storm.

For sure, I know my sister said the park behind her house was flooding, but no buildings damaged that I'm aware of, she's in Wyoming.

We had a late start winter up here. We didn't have snow that stuck until mid-december which is super unusual.

Yesterday it was so nice, I took my daughter on an hour walk without blankets or anything before the storms and she absolutely loved it. It was the first time she was outside for that long (3 months old). Now today it's cold and gloomy...wth. I want to go on another walk, I have baby fat to lose lol
