Absolutely yes. There comes a point where it becomes a choice to love. Infatuation will eventually fade away - even if you leave and meet someone new. But not feeling that burning passion isn't a reason to quit on a marriage.

Maybe not for your marriage. Everyone is different but I know that in 6 1/2 years, I've fallen in love with DH several times. So I can imagine it will happen several more times if our marriage lasts another 50 years.

I can relate we have our ups and downs but I feel our love gets stronger and stronger and fall in love over and over again. We always remember why we felt in love in the first place. I do believe that if you give up and do not try nor realize why where you in love in the first place and what you can do about it then thats a different story. It all depends on the couple and how much are they are willing to do for each other. It take two. We surprise each other with love texts and remind each other how much we mean to each other. I just got one from my dh today. Little things like that means a lot. Yesterday he brought me roses just because he said that he will marry me all over again. He is my everything my best friend, soulmate, husband father of my kids you name it. He feels the same way about me. True unconditional love is very hard to find and once you find it hold on to it.

Yeah I dont believe you can fall out of love unless you got together for other reasons other than love.
