After miscarriage did you try again? And do multiple unexplained miscarriages decrease your chances of healthy prrgnancy?
I started trying again immediately. They don't decrease your chances but if it gets to the point you have more than three you can go see a fertility specialist and they can do testing and see what is going on.
I have had 2 m/c's and 2 Ectopics. I had 1 daughter after 2 M/C's and 1 Ectopic....she is 2years old. I had another Ectopic between her and this one. I was put on Progesterone for both of my successful pregnancies. I think it depends on the underlying factors that are causing the m/c's
I had a text book pregnancy and then 1 mc in jan 9 and another this weekend...they havent done any testing and have no idea why im miscarrying im afraid to try again at this point...so if i have another mc it would probably be good to see a specialist?
i was told you can try again after a month or so. ask your ob if you can since they know your medical history.
Started trying right away after the first 2 miscarriages, waited 6 months after the 3rd. Having multiple miscarriages won't necessarily affect your fertility, unless you have an underlying condition. You can have testing done, but most insurance companies won't pay for the testing until after the 3rd loss. I didn't find out I had a problem until after my 3rd.

[snip!] ... mc's causes you to have unhealthy pregnancies later but I know that if you have had 3 or more than your considered "high risk""</blockquote>
I've had 3 and my OB doesn't treat me any differently than a "normal" pregnancy, despite my history and the clotting disorder.
