Who here is a mother of a preemie? I'm only 28 weeks pregnant and 1cm dialted. I was put on bed rest at 19 weeks pregnant due to short cervix. My cervix has gone up and down through this whole thing. Right now its at 2.0. It keeps getting shorter. The doctor said I'm not gonna go full term, and their goal is to get me past 32 weeks. How early was your preemie? How long did he/she have to stay in the NICU? Do they have any kind of problems? Feel free to share your story <3

I had my daughter at 30 weeks, and she stayed in the NICU for one month. She's almost 3 now, and is on track for everything, and has absolutely no problems, other than she's really small!

How much did she weigh and long was she? Was she behind on sitting up, walking, ect.?

My DS was born at 30 weeks. He was 3 lbs 12 ozs and 16". He spent 1 month and 3 days in the NICU. We were lucky and other than them having to slowly introduce milk and his body learning how to digest it he had no health issues. He was a little behind schedule on most of his milestones but by his adjusted age he was pretty much on track. He is still very small but other than that he is great. He is 2 1/2 now.

I had a high risk pregnancy and was put on bed rest at 26 weeks after almost losing her. she was born just before 35 weeks and had severely infected eyes that would swell that bad you couldn't see her eyelashes, breathing problems and jaundice. she also had a hard time staying away and her responses were pretty bad. she ended up losing a lot of weight from not being able to stay awake long enough to eat but eventually became a healthy little girl. the only problem I have now is she is alllllways sick with the flu.

My neice was born at 34w6d and had to stay in the NICU for one month due to severe jaundice, issues regulating her temperature and breathing. She is now a normal 2 year old!
