This might be helpful http://www.babycenter.com/0_breastfeeding-and-pierced-nipples_8690.bc As for the incest thing... before you make a comment like that, do some research. As you can tell, it can cause people to get really upset.

No problem. Good luck with your pregnancy!!! Also if you find out that breast feeding isnt for you at least do it until your actual milk supply comes in. Colostrum got the name liquid gold for a reason (aside from it being similar in color).

!! I promise, breast feeding will not do anything but be helpful for baby. :D

I would think pumping would cause some possibly serious irritation with n****e piercings, and I'd be one to be paranoid about a ball being loose and LO accidentally swallowing the ball. I really think it would be best to just take them out. Got to make some sacrifices for your child...

I also had both of mine pierced but once pregnant decided they should come out because I would be breast feeding. With that said, I was worried about things like an infection, something getting caught, them getting in the way, pain (getting milk was painful enough and the rings just added to that) so I think once you get that far you may not want to keep them in. I also had mine for 4 years and they didnt close up till after I was done breastfeeding (when my b**bs went back to "normal") so if that is a concern they should be fine. As for the sexual stimulation, that is false information and if breast feeding is not for you then you shouldn't be judged for that. Just make sure you are making your decisions using correct information.

Why don't take them out when pumping and putting them back in fast after. They won't close since the milk while come out the holes will mine did. I did remove my n****e rings do to the worst pain in the world but month after even 3 years after I took them out I still get milk coming out the holes

Since you are a new mother, you do not actually know how a breast pump works. A n****e ring would not be a good thing to have when you are pumping because the pump actually pulls your n****e and surrounding area like into the pump to "suck" the milk out and I am just guessing with this information having a n****e ring on during this process could be extremely painful.

Wherever you read that needs to get shut down. Babies don't see it as anything sexual. It's their instinct to know that's where food is from! It's like bottle fed babies NEVER have a fetish for bottles when they are older. /fp

You can however breast pump with piercings you just have to take the bar/ring out pump then sterilise the piercing salt water was your nips then place it back in. It's a hassle but it worth it to keep your child healthy.

I suggest taking it out and breast feeding for as long as you want then re-piercing. It isn't about you anymore remember you have a little tyke to look after.
