Quoting Primitive Mama:" I think it means strictly tanning beds and sprays."

Yes, but it is to "nanny" us. There is FAR more damage to skin being done on beaches, pools, etc than all the tanning done in all the tanning beds.

Let's just let kids smoke cigarettes, too.

She's NOT very good at it. If she EVER said anything remotely funny/entertaining/something that didn't sound like it came from a 90 year old I think half of BG would drop dead from shock.

That is a matter of opinion. You can get a nice glow without baking yourself in a tanning bed. Natural sun is much better, but still dangerous.
I hope that I am lucky enough to not get cancer from all of my tanning during my teen and young adult years. Granted I'm still young, but I do not tan in tanning beds anymore.

Hey, I know I can be a b***h sometimes but at least I have a personality that isn't the equivalent of watching flies f**k on drying paint.

Didn't you know use of tanning beds is a constitutional right which must be upheld?!

If you ask dermatologists, they will tell you that they see cancer all the time from just being outside. Most of the people with skin CA now have never considered a tanning bed.
why not ban booze and smokes?

If its okay for them to ban spray tans on the basis that it could possibly hurt a teenagers selfesteem is it okay for the government to ban, wearing makeup, dying or highlighting hair, wearing nice clothes, waxing, or anything else that girls may or may not decide they need or need to do to look beautiful before a certain age because it could hurt their selfesteem?

I agree with all of it. There is absolutely no reason for little kids to be tanning in tanning beds and/or getting spray tans. In my opinion, that just encourages them to look "fake".
