:!: I keep coming on to check for an update. Hope you are okay!
I doubt she will update quickly, ladies...if she really went to the hospital like everyone advised, I'm sure they will be keeping her for a few nights to do a D&C to get that crap out and then monitor her! I have never seen this happen before, I hope she is alright.
I hope she is okay as well!! This is a very scary situation! I hope all is well OP!
I hope everything is okay OP I am watching this...its super scary.
I hope she went to the hospital and is doing better.
I've been wondering about OP too. Hope you're okay!
hope you are ok OP
This is the best advice I could offer my mum had some of her placenta still in her after she gave birth to me five weeks after birth she was rushed into hospital with a polulmonary embolism to the lung which could of killed her she didnt have a sign all she had was a rock hard left leg please go to drs or hospital and seek help as you have found something that may be serious
Hope you went to the ER and good luck!
I had the same thing, dr manually removed the placenta because my cervix started closing before I delivered it. He said it looked whole.
Later that night I showed the midwife more placenta. They thought that was then all of it.
Days later I was losing tissue in the shower at home and they took me in for a curettage and put me on IV antibiotics.
You're still in our thoughts!
I know we haven't talked before, but I subed to this thread cuz I am hoping and watching to see that you're ok! Thinking about you!
Watching this too. Hope you're okay, OP!
Can anyone get a hold of OP to see if she's okay?
Ok ladies, so I went to the ER. They confirmed it was placenta that I was passing, they did an ultrasound and saw stuff still in my uterus, but they said they couldn't tell me for sure what it was. My uterus is still pretty big (the fundus is still up at my belly button) so they put me on a medication to make me contract to hopefully expel whatever else is in there, and if things don't improve I will end up getting a D&C.
The doctor who pulled the placenta out said, "It sound like she's over the worst of it, she will be fine." And the ER doctor said this is all fairly common...
Anyways thank you ladies for the advice and everything! Hopefully I don't have to go back! Being away from my kids was horrible!
