Yup, Can you believe it? Last Sunday I was due the following Monday to have my c-section when at 3:30AM Sunday morning I woke up coughed and felt a huge gush (I actually thought I might have peed on myself) went to the bathroom stripped outta my panties and changed into new ones. Went back to bed 5 minutes later noticed it seemed I had the sudden urge to push and felt more liquid so went back to the bathroom peed again and then looked down and noticed i'd dripped onto the floor this silver dollar sized goo reached down and wiped my tootie with toilet paper to find more of the goo and was also seeing pink on the toilet paper. At this point I was starting to think something wasn't right so I put a pad on and stayed up started making a list of things i'd need to pack and take to the hospital (yes C-section the next day and no I hadn't even packed my hospital bag...this btw is something my husband will smugly tell anyone see I've been telling her for days to better be prepared just in case) anyways by 4:30 I figured with my hubby not having to work till 10am that it'd be safe just in case to go to L & D and have them check everything that with my POLY (high amniotic fluid levels) everything was ok and not to panic over the spotting. Anywho got checked in right away setup on the movement and contraction monitor and nurse came in did the fluid check and said yup you've ruptured. next thing I know she tells me to have my husband come to the hospital no later then 7am that I would be having my C-section no later then 7:30am that morning. So my baby boy is here and healthy and he decided that he wasn't going to wait 24 more hours he was coming on his own time! lol thanks for reading.
That is a great story! Congrats on your baby being here!
awe:) congratulations:) made me tear up:)
Sorry if this is inappropriate, but why didnt you try delivering naturally
Awww congrats mama :)
Awe congrats lol I was suppose to be induced tomorrow but my water started leaking today so I'm at the hospital now :) fun fun
My body doesn't prepare for labor I don't dilate on my own this is my third child all three pregnancies my body never dilated more then 2CM, and the major reason I had my first C-section is my cervical mucous doesn't soften my cervix. And this pregnancy I had Poly high amniotic fluid which puts a vaginal birth at high risk not impossible but with me already having two prior C-sections it would have been an unneeded risk. And another good thing about my C-section it allowed my dr's to see that in my amniotic fluid was meconium so they were able to double check and monitor my baby boy for any problems and thankfully none were found.

Ah same thing with my mum, 48 hours of labour only progressing to 2cm with both my brother and I, so my two sisters were elective c-sections
